VINTAGE

In Luxembourg, autumn isn’t just felt in the cooling air. It’s also marked by one of the most important events of the year: the start of the grape harvest season.
Every mid-September, winemakers begin the process of handpicking grapes, ensuring that only the finest are selected to produce the Grand Duchy's exclusive wines.
At Ozzo, we are proud to uphold Luxembourg’s rich winemaking tradition by collaborating with esteemed vineyards like "Domaine Bentz" and "Domaine Alice Hartmann". These winemakers along the Moselle River grow high-quality grapes which capture the perfect balance of flavor and aroma, truly reflecting the uniqueness of our region’s terroir.

Every year, the grape harvest season provides employment opportunities for hundreds of job seekers, as winemakers across Luxembourg require a substantial workforce to meet the demands of the harvest. This seasonal influx of workers not only supports the wine industry but also contributes to Luxembourg’s economy by generating jobs and adding value to the country's growing reputation for fine wines. In this way, the wine industry plays a vital role in both enriching Luxembourg’s cultural heritage and boosting its global economic presence.
